Look, I love Serenity. But sometimes I wonder if Zachary is a good husband or just... emotionally unavailable with money.
He protects, yes. But the communication? The secrecy? The control?
Maybe he’s misunderstood. Maybe he’s toxic. Maybe I just dated a Zachary once and it still stings.

I know he’s doing his best in his own way, but sometimes I wanted to shake him. Especially in those early chapters when he kept making decisions for Serenity instead of with her.
I’d lose my mind if my partner did that in real life.
